Who does the tutoring?

All of our Personal Tutoring is done by high school students from Prince Georges County. All tutors have gone through extensive training and have grades and SAT scores that place them at the top of their class. All College Applications Advising is done by students in the University of Maryland's nationally recognized Gemstone honors program. All college tutors were accepted to top tier universities and know how to make any application look superior.

Where does the tutoring take place?

Our tutors meet students where ever the client wishes! Most clients prefer the tutoring to occur in their homes, however many students are tutored at their school after classes or at a local library.

How are tutors chosen?

All tutors must first apply through our Employment page. All candidates are then screened by managment for their grades, SAT scores, experience, and extracurricular involvement. Once a candidate is offered employment, he or she must undergo tutor training taught by an experienced tutor at the University of Maryland.

How much does it cost per session?

What is the cancellation policy?

We ask that our tutors be given 24 hours notice in the event of a cancellation. If a tutor shows up to a session because he or she was not informed of a cancellation, the client will be assesed a penalty equivalent to the cost of a half-hour session.
